The Ultimate Omaha Guide for College World Series Fans

Omaha is our home town and this list comes with decades of local knowledge. This is a general guide to Omaha hot spots. When you're not at a College World Series game, this will be a reliable list for exploring the city. This list starts near the ball park and continues westward into the historic neighborhoods and suburbs of Omaha. We've even included a key for you to easily navigate based on what type of activity you're feeling, and/or if you're traveling solo, with kids or with friends. You can always send @FLPSDE a message on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook if you have questions or want to tag along with whatever adventures we're getting into.

The Icons: Omaha's Most Visited Spots

C, S, D - Old Market - These are the two activities most synonymous with visiting Omaha. The Old Market is family-friendly during the day, but at night, this historic district becomes a melting pot for bar hoppers.

O, E - Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium - Old school CWS fans have more than one reason to love the zoo. Located in the zoo parking lot is the memorial to Rosenblatt Stadium, where the series was held from 1950-2010 before moving to TD Ameritrade Park. After checking out some CWS history, you'll quickly learn why Omaha's zoo has been voted the best zoo IN. THE. WORLD! We recommend visiting at the end of the day before closing for smaller crowds. Seriously, Henry Doorly will ruin all other zoos for you - except maybe San Diego's.
